Toast of the Town To Benefit Scholarship Efforts

ENFIELD — Tickets are now available online at for the fifth annual “Toast of the Town” beer, wine and spirits tasting event on Friday, April 26, at the Old Country Banquet Hall, 4 Alden Drive, Enfield from 6:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
“Toast of the Town” coordinator Connie Provencher, ERfC community development manager, said the annual signature fundraiser provides scholarships to help Enfield children participate in academic, enrichment, and recreational activities during out-of-school time.
ERfC, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, is celebrating its 25th anniversary serving Enfield families. The nonprofit provides financial assistance to 60 percent of the children attending ERfC Before and After School Centers from the six elementary schools and JFK Middle School.
Provencher said Enfield Police Chief Alaric Fox will be the special guest speaker for the event and ERfC board member Scott Kaupin will be the master of ceremony.
“Toast of the Town” guests will enjoy beer, wine, and spirits tasting from local vendors including Powder Hollow Brewery, R Dee Winery, KH & H Liquors, Broad Brook Brewery, and 4 Corners Package Store.
Provencher said the evening will also feature large raffle items, exciting silent auctions, a 50/50 raffle, hors d’oeuvres, and a full buffet dinner, followed by live music by The Turnabout Band and dancing.
A cash bar will be available after the tasting.
Groups, friends, and businesses can reserve tables for eight or 10 individuals. Tickets are $30 per person and should be purchased online at to secure seating.
