Somers church is full of holiday cheer!
Celebrate this holiday season at the Somers Congregational Church, where several events will be open to the public.
The annual Holiday Bazaar is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
More than 30 artisans, crafters and vendors will be displaying their wares for unique holiday gifts.
A delicious lunch will also be available for holiday shoppers. There is no admission fee for the event.
Get into the holiday spirit by attending a dynamic concert held at the Somers Congregational Church in its beautifully decorated sanctuary.
On Saturday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m., the Shoreline Ringers, a premier Connecticut hand bell choir, will perform their popular holiday concert.
A free-will donation will be collected at the concert and no ticket purchase is necessary.
A new offering for the holidays this year is a staged reading of “A Christmas Carol.” The Somers Village Players will perform the Charles Dickens classic on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. at the Somers Congregational Church.
No ticket purchase is necessary. A free-will donation will be collected and refreshments will be served following the event.
The Somers Congregational Church is located at 599 Main St. in Somers.
The church is handicapped-accessible and has ample free parking.
